Pass The Pepper

Was a Thursday evening and I man was feeling

For some kinda healing from this life I’m living

Because things in the city too hot

Even on the mountaintop

So I call me brother, he say whais the order

I say curry cooking, he say he coming over

And he bringing buss-up-shut, well look at trouble

Better I make this pot bubble on the double

So my brother reach and he walk with a guitar

He pull out some herb and we discuss matters

Of this journey that we on called life

And how it’s a mixed-bag of joy and strife
