I'm keen to see the faces of my friends

But I'm scared I've been gone too long and forgotten

And the scene I've loved so much just like the world will soon move on

And I'll be left here on my own stuck at the bottom

I am pulled in all directions, don't know where I'm meant to fit

I am torn right down the middle, getting rope burns on my wrists

And there's not much I claim to know

I am keen, but I'm scared sick and if I had heels on my feet then I would click them

So I'd be on stage back home
