Wearing Thin

The veil is getting thin

And every day it's getting harder to ignore the voices heard within

And every breath I take, through thinner air and a pitch black stare just keeps me in a world I've come to hate

With too much weighing down my mind a bitter image of myself becomes the only one I seem to find

Can I let go, can I let go

Am I stuck in place or am I stuck in time

This is not me, this world's not mine

When nothing changed that's nothing new to me
