Drained

I see the ringgit, beaten up and limping

I asked myself, if we're keeping score, whose winning

I guess if I saved a little, maybe I could live

Without it being a grievance to my kids

Oh the debt has a deathly grip, with a ghastly prick

That stabbed us, left us for dead to the brim

As it rains down drench out watch it drip

Losing dreams, down to the trenches quick

Can't afford the groceries no more, probably

Thinking of breaking, entering

Battering, having to hack-in through the doors
