They say choose your battles, I decide to fight silently

Little bits of jealousy, anger, depression, even anxiety

That come together, try to block my vision entirely

I never let it

I'll be damned if you do and then tell me you're okay with it

Between the beats I built a world of bars, so you know that Imma live in it

Mornings where I didn't make my bed but at night I still laid in it

Just be yourself, everybody plays the game different

All these different ways to learn all the same lessons

The less you look the more you see, you just gotta listen
