Dear Lord, now is better than never

Please take the wheel as I am coasting, on this endless endeavor

Drenched and dripping with sin, spent a lifetime lost

Within all them wasted minutes, forgotten was the cost

Now on my knees, with my palms pressed tight

Look to the sky, dear God help me change my life

Ruckus I've caused enough of, and the sufferings tough

As I bust up out of these cuffs, my past I'll touch on just once

It's been a minute since I spoke on the penance

That I spent while sitting in prison and serving out my sentence

Isn't a gimmick, day by day counting minutes
