I've been observing a society

Whose whole structure is based on hierarchy, fear, obedience

The promotion of a unit and not of the unity

A society that turns its back on one's inner world

And is mainly interested in the outer

A humanity that tolerates poverty, the pretty little lies

As long as the needs and aspirations of the "one" are satisfied

A society that always relies on messianism

While the real solution is within us

Next to us, in the tears of our fellow man, in the screams of a mother

Still, I observe a society based on concurrence

Wrecked by the media's and so-called God's messengers' propaganda

Always accusing its superiors while we

As a herd, keep being weak-willed

Accepting war in every aspect of our life as if it is something normal

Eventually, when we realise the insanity of the whole situation

We seek shelter in countries, religions, political parties

An action that then makes us believe we are secure/responsible

Why don't we see the facts as they are

Why do discord and conflict prevail in modern culture

Why do social classes exist? Why do laws exist

The sole answer to these questions is "ego"

Because my corrupted "ego" always surpasses yours

My eyes and soul show me that, in reality

There is only one crisis, the inner crisis

I want to live in a world without any barriers

In this beautiful world only justice, compassion

Generosity, kindness and love will exist

My eyes and soul reveal to me the Inner crisis

If you want to bring peace, unity

Then you'll have to reconsider, think deeper

Before labelling yourself, what are you

You are human

You know, the first moment you came into this world

You came as a human and you'll leave from it the same way

Everything else is of minor importance

First and foremost you are human
