As I look around, this is what I've found

Peace and harmony and love living underground

Greed, oppression, tyranny living on the surface

Giving up on hope and coping with our urges feeling worthless

The worst is we do not seem to have consideration

For the future of our children or our planet or our nations

Or the dreams that we conceived collectively to help each other

To reach this point in history so many had to suffer

Are we running out of time

Will we ever learn from history

Was it all in vain, are we prepared to take for granted

That the end is coming soon so why not crucify this planet

That has been our home, the mother of this complex human family

The only place where life can thrive in this entire galaxy

Fallacy reigns supreme and nothing noble

In the way we treat each other, brother-hatred going global

Vocal but only in the way we criticize

When we lose our positivity, we just get paralyzed

I don't know what you know

But we are in the same boat

Sinking in the real

I can see a world where we float

What if it was in reach

Living with the same hope

Working for the same peace

And make a heaven out of what has come to feel like hell

And recognise that all the flags are just disguises

And the world is really in the people's hands

And if we look deep within ourselves, I guarantee that we'll find

That nearly everybody in this world is of the same mind

Clean water, food and shelter, peace and love, work that matters

Beautifully different but the same, don't leave the world in tatters
