He's righteous in his walk and talk and everything he does

And the devil said, Well, duh! Got a hedge about his place

Then his buddies came to comfort but it turned into a fight

They told him to confess his sin and things would be alright

But he said, I ain't done no wrong! My witness is on high

But seems to me you've missed the mark in thirty seven tries

And the man from Uz just waved his hands as if to say, Why not?

So the kid he rambled on a spell just like the old men

Til God had had his fill and said, I think that's where we'll end

I made the earth the sea and sky, but where were you back then?

Your arm's too short to box with me so why not just give in?

And then he told the man he had to pray for all his friends

And doubled what he had before (I think to make amends)
