Therefore

Having laid aside

Falsehood

Each one of you speak the truth

With his neighbour

For we are members of one another

Be angry and do not sin

Do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger

Do not give the devil an opportunity

He who steals must steal no more

Rather, he must labour, doing good with his own hands

So he will have something to share with those in need

Therefore

With his neighbour

For we are members of one another

Let no unclean word come out

Only what is helpful for encouraging the needy

That it would give grace to those who hear

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God

By whom you were sealed for the day of redemption

You must put away all bitterness, anger, wrath

Quarrelling, and slander—Indeed all malice

Instead, be kind to one another

Compassionate, forgiving, just as God forgave you
