He asked me if I wanted a boy or a girl

I said I want a beautiful, healthy, wise baby

One day while pregnant with you

I'm reading my word and the Holy Spirit said to me

Be strong and courageous

Do not be afraid or discouraged

For the Lord your God

Will be with you wherever you go

And it's in that moment that I decided

I remember seeing mom's belly grow

I was tripping more than anybody knows

You were kicking and flipping

And twisting and turning

Your momma was happy, and hungry, and fussy

The time came, her water broke

We're flying down the road its exciting tho

My job was to motivate your mom

Encourage her spirit and keep her mental space strong

And When you came out they put you on my chest

Our hearts synced, my soul was so blessed

I passed out when you came into this world though

As I watched you come out of your mom's womb

I literally felt everything leave my body

It was a new beginning

Never be afraid to stand alone for what you know

And believe the Lord is calling you to do

You will be tested

You will be tempted

And you will be tried

But in all things

Be bold

Have faith

Be steadfast and unmovable in the Lord

Wise as a serpent

But as gentle as a dove

Forever trust in His love

Now that you're here

I'm seeing more of God

Religion couldn't teach me

My son's on his job

You've made mistakes and pooped on me

But I'm still gone be your dad

That taught me that mankind can't change the LORD's plans

We ain't gotta stress

God ain't scared of mess

Faith in Him is a gift from Him

That's why we're living blessed

Think about your ups and downs

And how we're always there

So how much more will God be if your heart is in His hands

In life, there will be many ups and downs

Our goal is not to give you the world

But teach you how to live in the world
