Inescapable Lyrics

There is an intangible box that traps me

Putting thought towards it does me no favors

There is no reason for its existence

Yet it still manages to control me

Another burden that demands to slow down my life

Oh, can't the rain just stop pouring?

The box is slowly filling

And soon enough I'll drown and die

Many people watch me, as the box holds no form

They watch, but for some reason they will not act

The various identities I've crafted are forced

to fester in my own rancid mind

One day the walls will topple, and so will the shadow of me

Hopefully then I can find myself

I feel the force of my mind push from inside me

Soon I will expel it, else how else will I live?

The love I've developed might not last either

For this I am a villain

There is no sense in worrying for others when I am so obviously removed

In time, I will become the best I can be
