About the time we accepted Christ

For many people like me, it was in a moment of darkness

This is my story

I remember back when I was so depressed, all hope was gone

I felt so worthless

Lost in the dark everything was wrong

I hated myself

I didn't know what to do I was not OK

Then I met Jesus

He came into my life took the pain away

When I met Jesus Christ

I was so lost with depression inside

Drowning in the dark contemplating suicide

Why am I alive

I'm worthless to myself and everybody in my life

I began to pray

Accepting Jesus Christ as my savior that day

He came into my life, then my darkness went away

Since then I've been OK

I never will forget that day when I was saved

I will never forget that day

When Jesus Christ came into my life

He brought me joy and peace and I will always be grateful

The dark cloud lifted, the storm went away sun began to shine

No longer felt worthless, I know I can do all things with God

He lives in my heart

I'll always put Him first I will fear not
