When Jesus came from Heaven

To save us from our sins

He knew the pain and sorrow He would face

He knew that He would suffer

And die upon the cross

Then rise again to manifest God's grace

The crowds were drawn to Him

He told his stunned disciples, then He said"This world is filled with darkness

I've come to be the light

My story will not end with My death"

That he lay down his life for his friends

Let not your hearts be troubled

You believe in God

Believe also in Me

Though I return to Heaven

I'll come again for you

So where I am, there you may also be

For God so loved the world
