It started with a dare, "Just run a 5K!"

Laced up my shoes, thought, "How hard can it be?"

Huffed and puffed, crossed that finish line,

And somehow thought, "Maybe 10K next time?"

'Cause if I can run a five, I can run a ten,

If I can run a ten, I can do it again!

A half sounds crazy, but so did this,

Now I'm carb-loading like a nutritionist!

From couch to the road, from miles to marathons,

Started with one, now I'm chasing 'em all!

Berlin, Boston, Chicago, too,

London, Tokyo, and New York, woo!

From 5K to six stars, look at me now,

Gonna need new knees, but I'll take that vow!

Signed up for a half, got the fancy vest,

Hit the wall at mile ten, but gave it my best,

Then some fast guy said, "You're almost there!"

Lies! A 5K left feels unfair!

But if I can run a half, I can run a full,

If I run a full, then it's kinda cool,

Might as well do six—what's one more race?

Besides, I love collecting medals and chafing in place!

Woke up at 4, got my gels in my belt,

Sang to my legs, "Don't cramp, don't melt!"

Race fees, flight costs, my wallet cries,

But crossing that line? Tears in my eyes!

Six stars, I did it, the dream came true,

But now I'm asking—what's next to do?

Sydney's calling, the seventh star's here,

Shanghai, Cape Town, in a couple more years?

From six to seven, then maybe nine,

More medals, more miles—yeah, that sounds fine!

Some say I'm crazy, but here's the thrill…
