If my brain could record my dreams

You would understand my screams

Sometimes they really freak me out

I try so hard yet I still can't shout

I'm stuck in there a prisoner of my mind

A normal moment I cannot find

I try to understand them when I finally wake

But they're so confusing and sense is one thing I can't make

Some dreams I love and some I hate

They're crazy and mixed up all over the place

Often I'll dream more than once a night

The first will be sweet but the second a fright

In some I see people I miss so much

I love those ones, my heart they touch

The next time I fall back into slumber

It's a river of water that I'm stuck under

I struggle to breathe as I go down deeper

Then out of nowhere I see the grim reaper

The terror I feel is definitely not fake

The sweat pours off me and suddenly I wake

As they are so evil I'd end up in hell

It's always so muffled when you're stuck in a Dream

Your strength is all gone in the dream state

You can't even manage to open a gate

If something is chasing you it's so hard to run

You can't get away and it feels like you're Done!
