Lyrics
There once was a boy
He said his name was Brian
But I didn't really know him
So he might have just been lying
But the one thing I know
Is his parents found him found him dead on the sofa
Yeah, but there's a whole fucking story that we need to address
So we can understand the thoughts that live inside Brian's head
Because they're so dumb
At this point, he was so young
At this point, he was only fourteen
But he couldn't read or write
And his parents were ashamed when they looked him dead in the eyes
They've been working for years, and making money to provide
And he spits back in their faces any time that he likes
He would stay out after hours
'Cause he thought he had the power
His mum and dad were furious but he would call them sour
And they weren't perfect
But they deserve their flowers
Building everything for Brian while tumbles from that tower like
He had a sister too, and she was similar
But there was one trait that they shared in particular
They were wild, their parents were much simpler
And the biggest shame is that the kids were never great listeners
So one day it was dark, and Brian should've been home
But he was walking endlessly through the trees on his own
When he stumbled on a structure, it looked to be old
He was intrigued nonetheless and got his sister involved
And then they went back with a friend, and walked into the building
They had found a place to hide for when their parents weren't chilling
They were happy more than ever, 'til a crack in the ceiling
Almost ended up with Brian on a poster saying "missing"
His dad searched all night and then he found them eventually
And he realised Brian was his one true enemy
Only attached by identity
Eleven years go by, you think he would've changed
But the boy back then is still the man he is today
He's twenty-five, he lives a better life
With a woman who loves him and wants to be his wife
There's a baby on the way
Sure, it wasn't planned but his fiancée really wants this so he acts like a man
Even though he knows he's not even close to being a dad
He wants to say something, so he pulls up his pants
But then the baby's born
He's still too immature
But there's a child on this Earth now who desperately will need a source
Of fatherhood, he still hates the way that he was taught
So you would think that he would change the pattern, not let it reform
But little did he know, he would became what he hates
And his son would be the one later on that would pay
His parents couldn't possibly be more ashamed
But their problem is, they let him off the hook every fucking day
Another four years now pass
He's struggling to grasp
The reason almost everything he touches turns to glass
All he sees is his reflection when he looks inside the mirror
But he hopes that it would open to a place from his past
And she's pregnant yet again
The worst part is he hates her
He doesn't understand why she won't let him try escape her
When he's out at night, talking to many other women
He can't stand when she calls and tries everything in her nature
Just to get him to come home
His son can't sleep without him
When he leaves late at night, his son cries until he's found him
And he feels bad about it but clearly just not enough
He sprints away with fear every time that life's tough
And now he's got two sons, and both of them are fatherless
His plans is that he'll stay until his second child is hard enough
To understand their mother is a piece of fucking garbage 'cause
He believed that she was mad with complete whole-heartedness
He had to replace this whole family
That's just how he thought
So he left all three behind
In search for something more
When he found a great replacement
He was better than before
He was the father that his real sons had dreamed of when they're bored
'Cause he left 'em high and dry
With no money to survive
And he told them "when I get back to this house, you best be driving
Far to anywhere away from here"
Brian found a brand new family to move in next year
And he would see his children now and then
But only 'cause their mother forced him into it again
If it was up to him, he wouldn't see them ever
His new family was better
He would even take his sons to see the new woman he'd met
And he told 'em that her children were way better kids than them
And that their mother was a piece of shit and told 'em both to hate her
He would live to regret that later
His sons are all grown up now
And he missed basically everything
The only memories they have of Brian are all negative
And that's his own fault, deep down, he knows
He knows that he's got nothing left, he's washed up and it shows
But he did build a company, he did that all alone
Now he's a very rich man, his kids in a council home
But that doesn't matter, 'cause his 100th partner knows
If he dies any time soon, all the assets, she will own
And she's mental too, even by Brian's standards
She's a raging alcoholic and a previous coke addict
But as long as it's not his sons, then he's fucking ecstatic
His eldest tried suicide, and he didn't even contact him
And he wants to be careful, that son fucking hates him
He's messed up in the head but that's the product Brian made him
And he wants to take him down, and he wants to escape him
He doesn't know how he feels, but revenge is what he's taking, ah
"We have a caucasian middle-aged male here
With wounds to the stomach, bleeding heavily
Requesting emergency medical treatment and urgent police force assistance
We assume this to be foul play"
Who the fuck would kill his own father?
And leave his body on the sofa in his own house
Imagine the look on his parents faces
When they saw blood drops coming from his mouth
Why did you think you could stab him?
And leave, like nobody would've eventually found
Him laying there lifeless, he won't come around
He's lost his crown, he's crashin' down
"He was always the same
I've been in pain, it drove me insane
He can't stay away
For that, he paid, I warned him astray
But he'd always say
"Stay in your lane, it will be okay"
Been counting the days
This was planned, this was arranged"
But he's not the only victim
Who's that girl dead in the kitchen?
"I warned him, I said what the bitch did
He didn't listen and now she's a dead bitch"
This is so fucked, do you know what you've done?
You murdered two people and said it was fun
"Never said that once, but now that I've won
I feel so much better than when this begun"
He was a prick, but you could've left
Now you're a criminal and your dad's dead
"I did it once and I'll do it again
It's what he deserved, he's no longer depressed"
What 'bout the partner? Was that really needed?
Did you feel guilty a bit when she pleaded?
I couldn't stand her and so I proceeded
I wanted revenge, and I succeeded
