Battle royale in the fields of wine

Wielding an axe to stand alone and hold the line

Dink fit for kings while a foolish nation cries

They make mockeries of red eyes

Yet, take nothing for strength in these times

Repeating sin and falling for crime

Calling the truth heresy

Evilly faulted for wrath in the wilderness

Easily sounding like sons of Balaam

Saying a man may fall back unto hell is how I failed them

Ready to burn me with the witches of Salem

They claim substitutive goodness

With fallacy calling the way of righteousness foolish

Fallen to apostasy

We stand by the power of his righteousness

Confusion lies in the way of the fall

Because he died once and for all

If made righteous of him then how can the law

Yet its not of the law per say

Its about liberty in his way

The law brought knowledge

Living by faith

Covered by grace a child is raised

Some cushion the ground and say they already won

Take heed to how safety is applied

It's the love of God and promise of life

A new covenant as a faithful wife

Married to a way Jesus manifested

Shortcomings are to be expected

There is no measure of success

It's living in the Spirit Jesus possessed

Men are so obsessed with contests

Eternal life is uncontested

It's where the heart is rested

Set on things above not to be bested

A new creature whose new life is embraced

Seeking a new land not in this place

Hypocrites mock as I live and taste
