Oh hear me now O Silent Sky

In whispers I call though answers die

They speak against me with venomous tongues

A chorus of shadows where darkness clung

Unjustly they hate though love was my creed

They cast their stones; I'm left to bleed

But in this valley where hope feels so faint

I hold to Your promise unbroken restraint

Deliver me O Grace unseen

From the snares of the wicked this weary scene

Let mercy rain like stars in the deep

Though the world forsakes Your love I'll keep

I'm broken and worn my heart turns to ash

But their hatred's fire shall one day pass

For truth will awaken though clouds obscure

In the arms of redemption my soul feels sure

When curses are spoken they'll fade in the wind

The chains they have forged cannot hold me within

Your justice will rise though it seems so delayed

I walk in the shadow of debts You have paid
