You're about to hear a description to help you identify and make use of the gates

First I'll demonstrate using the card on the older style wide gates

Once you've located the wide access gate, which will be at one end of the gate array

Move to the right hand side of the gate

And you'll locate a stainless steel oblong pivot with a flat end

With the older style gates, on the top of that pillar is a round plastic raised disc

Place your card flat on the reader for about a second until you hear a ding

That indicates everything is okay and you'll immediately hear the clatter of the gates opening

Then you can walk through to the station
