Remember Your word to me, Your servant, Lord

In it, I find the hope I've been waiting for

This is my comfort in the trials I face

Your promise gives me life, Your mercy and grace

Though the insolent mock and deride

I will not turn from Your law, my guide

When I think of Your rules from of old

I take comfort, O Lord, in Your truth I hold

Hot indignation stirs within my soul

As the wicked turn from You, and lose self-control

But Your statutes are my song

In the house of my sojourning, I belong

I remember Your name through the night

I keep Your law, by Your guiding light

This blessing, Lord, has fallen to me

That I've kept Your precepts faithfully
