So mammals proliferated, whales including the blue whale, the largest animal ever recorded, started off as a mammal and actually crawled into the ocean

So a lot of people, not a lot of people, I don't know anything about anything, but some people don't believe that. Except I went to the blue whale exhibit at The ROM, that's a museum in Toronto and they had a rare fully intact blue whale skeleton, reassembled, so the reason why it's rare is cause they die in very deep ocean waters and they just sink to the bottom and then all kinds of bottom feeders and fish and everything, all kinds of things eat on them and snack on them

It's this enormous buffet that lasts for months and months and months and ecosystems are formed around these whale blue whale carcasses

You can scuba dive through the aeortas and valves in the heart

But the thing that was fascinating is that on on the skeleton to show that the blue whales crawled from land into the ocean and they have to come up to the surface to breathe, they can't breath under water like other types of fish and various aquatae, so there's actually evidence on the skeleton you can see little feet, much like our, hanging out the sides, but they don't do anything.They're kind of like the human appendix.They used to have a function, but now they just don't.
