They put a rifle in our hands

Some of us remained at home

Some went to foreign lands

To preserve our Constitution

And defend our nations's shores

Against all of our enemies

Like our fathers did before

When we returned from service

To a place so hard and cold

We were losers and suckers

Or so I have been told

My Grandfather was sent to France

To fight in Bellau Wood

A defender of democracy

And a man who was so good

Upon that fateful morning

He sacrificed his life

To Protect his home and family

In the rolling of war"s dice

But now he's come up snake eyes

And his life just came and went

Another loser and sucker

According to our President

Japanese Americans

Were faithful thru and thru

They went to serve the land they love

And Joined the 442

With courage and with honor

They earned their battle star

Tho their famlies were imprisoned

In a hell called Manzinar

Because their eyes were different

They never got what they deserved

Just more losers and more suckers

To a man who never served

Now I'm sitting here in darkness

Seeing what my country"s wrought

The wealthy and the powerful

Tread on the ones who're not

The rights I thought I'd served for

Just disappear each day

Our government's a carnival

And honor has no sway

Now evil is rewarded

And this nation's soul is gone
