That fell ass-first into a throne

Just that thought should make us all sick

Heroes binging on ice cream cones

I don't feel much reassurance

From platitudes spouted by the craven set

I wish we had some insurance

More than likely we'll soon be enslaved or dead

They've appointed themselves our lords

They've betrayed all that they swore to protect

We're on life support - they pull cords

But we must never ever genuflect
