Jeremiah said, I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb

Before you were born, I set you apart and appointed you as prophet to the nations

O sovereign Lord, I said, I can't speak for you, I'm too young

The Lord replied, don't say I'm too young, for you must go wherever I send you

And say whatever I tell you, and don't be afraid of the people

For I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken

Just as God knew Jeremiah, He knew you long before you were born or even conceived

God knew you

He knew when you would take your first breath

He knew when you would make your mistakes

And He knew when you would try to make amends to some of the people that you hurt

He knew you would listen instead of hearing His word

He knew when you would stray, going your own direction

He knew when you would make an about face, turning around from your current course

He knew the enemy would magnify, intensify all of your reservations and insecurities

He knew that he would do these things in an attempt to discourage you

To make you think you were not worthy of the call

Now, God says, don't look at your shortcomings or hesitancies as hindrances or excuses

But use them to catapult you to another realm

A realm of humility, confidence, boldness, excellence and greatness

Great is the Lord and He's worthy to be worshipped
