Stars bright

Close your eyes

As you look at their light

Another day they're all the same

A routine that I've grown to hate

I stutter and I hesitate

But I can't afford to be late

How dandelions grow

Go from a bright happy yellow

All of the trees

From their healthiest green

To a colorful

Explosion of dead

Leaves

Fall apart in the breeze

Seeing the rainbow fade

As the hurricane came

Trapped in a cage

In my head I can't escape

Waves crash against my mind

Drowning as my heart aches

I'm begging of you mother nature

Just give me a break

Flowers bloom in the afternoon

Smells like sweet nectar perfume

Then after a couple days

They start to wilt away

The feeling of the warm sun rays

In late or early May

Then the sun sets

And the darkness settles in
