I never really understood prayer

The channel clearer had to make amends with young me

I am a living, breathing, holy prayer walking

Somewhere around a fire ancestors spoke me up

The smoke lifted up and passed through dimensions

Same time I lit the J and took a big old puff

I heard their whispers paint a picture of a goddess

She's powerful and raw and she carries all of us

In her womb

Soon to bloom with creation

Her child and her predecessors here at once

God is inside of her open heart

All these reflections round me

From my fam to the trees, God is all I see

All these intentions I speak

For my fam and the trees and my ancestry

All these projections I seen

The dark shadows of our humanity

All these directions pointing

To a deeper need for harmony
