Not my will , but yours be done

Life could be taught for so long, and would never get old

When I'm speaking of life, there's no mentions of diamonds and gold

No mentions in my achievements or accounts that I hold

Your life is more than your own, why gain the world and lose your soul

I've seen pleasures come and go, I've lived that life and done it all before

Holding on, but there ain't much else to hold

Cause there ain't a day that's promised when he call then your gone

How many know that every house ain't a home

How many know there's only one on the throne

And if I'm wrong, then someone's right

But either Jesus is the truth, or he been feeding us a lie

If I'm right, then all other religions ain't even a might

Only God to lay his life down for his people

Yet know all about you and still love like he needs you

Point is, we all fallin short, but Jesus made it see through

Now I'm living out the testament to show what he do

Sacrificed all that he had when I wouldn't , but now that I see

I was blind from what could've been damage

I lived a life that the devil would manage

Cause I was a tree with no fruit, cause believing means answer

Ask me what is life now

Life is what you do, instead of saying it's for Christ now

Not just what I do, but who I am to lay my life down

You think he just sacrificed his life to pay a price

I think that he gave his life to show us what it's like

Surrendering your will for his to carry on the light

Christ is the image bearer, and in his we are alike

He paved the way to show us truth and resurrected life

And if he says that he's the way, the truth, and life

Which is the meaning of the concept

If he says I'm the way, the truth, and the life

Then, in his life, look

He's going through the worst of the worst

Literally, he's being mocked, he's being spit at

He's being lied about, you know what I'm saying

He's got friends that's betraying him

But it's all for the sake of the gospel

And everything that he does, he's like

Not my will, he prays to the father

Not my will, but yours be done

In the same way, it's like

If that's what life looks like

And he says I'm the life

Then

I think my life should align with his
