Epilogue (Poem) Lyrics

Colors swirl around you like autumn leaves

You're always the centerfold within the most beautiful of scenes

You drew colors in between my darkened edges

As I fell in love again against all my recent pledges

But this time it feels different

You're a blanket providing warmth and comfort

When I succumb to all my stresses

No longer lost in dissonance, when I'm with you I hear a harmony

It rings and rings like old church bells and that's the beautiful difference

The quietness isn't silence instead it speaks a thousand expressions

Like our Polaroids and pictures that show our story and progressions

Starting as a sketch we've grown into illustrations

Each chapter we strengthen by tending to abrasions

And as these words draw to close, we certainly do not

Our story has just begun we're only rising to the plot

I look forward to each next word, sentence, chapter.. in sunshine and in fog

And I hope life completes us a beautiful story which then includes an epilogue
