I used to always respond to a question

With "Uh huh"

But that didn't seem to go so well

When I was questioned 'Why do I always say "Uh huh"?'

And I said "Saying things like 'yeah' isn't really that ambiguous

But saying things like Uh huh? Or uh huh. Is very ambiguous"

From then on everyone was confused

Tried to get some things off their chest

About saying things like "Uh huh"

And being ambiguous

Everyone involved was in disbelief

Because it's weird how ambiguity can save you

There were just too many things

That put them in disbelief of ambiguity

To this day they might still wonder

'Why do I always respond with uh huh'

I have to change the way

I communicate with them

I could say "Uh huh"

Or I could say 'Yes, no'

But who knows?
