Snow falls on the roof again

I can feel it

Pressing in

And I see the ceiling bend

As I am trapped inside my bed

The popcorn seems to boil

With its texture so white and red

And night is so quiet

But noise speaks for its silence

Outside the flakes fall

And land with no trouble at all

It piles in snow banks

And hardens into ice walls

When the time comes

It'll turn into a dirt slush

And it'll melt into the soil
