Lyrics
Here's the tale of Old Man Crow
He's gone insane from his life of pain
He raised two boys up on his own
And it cut his soul down to the bone each day
He taught them right from wrong but still he prayed
That his boys would find their way
When Old Man Crow was thirty five
He went out to the mill and the
Memory still brings him chills
His leg got ripped off by the saw
And he feared his boys would no
Longer have a pa around
But his boys thought quick and saved their daddy's life
And carried him back to town
His boys grew up fast and they grew up quick
You see one went north and the other went back and forth
One got lucky and won some land
The other got fast with both his hands and drawin' a gun
He soon became a Ranger of the south
In the Arizona sun
When Old Man Crow turned sixty eight
He suffered from a demented mental state
So his grandson Red he moved on down
From Montana to the quiet town of Agua Fria
Red said he'd take care of Old Man Crow
Who just had no idea
The old man's frown turned upside down
When he found out that his grandson moved to town
When Crow asked Red about his job
Red lied and said: those who kill and rob my bullets kiss
Red smiled and said to Old Man Crow:
"And don't worry, I never miss"
