I'm feeling a little confused as of lately

I turn on the news to see the killings happening daily

And I just think it's crazy

That the free world is watching the genocide in silence ignoring the violence that brings all this pain

Just over 25 thousand palestinians were killed in 72 days, that's the biggest killing spree we've ever seen

Now it is clear to me that palestine needs help but we can't fight to give them their land back

We won't even speak up on the attacks

We're ignoring the world forcing them to be quiet

But I shall speak up when they're being silenced

I shall fight for them to stop the violence

Children are dying

Mother's are crying

Fathers are fighting

But their guns aren't firing

They all are helpless

We're all too selfish

To go and help them

War is too tiring

So we stay silent

As they're dying

Wishing we would save them

But we ignore their crying

It's not us that are dying

So we turn a blind eye at them

Mother's are shaking

They can't deal with the thought of their children gasping for air

But we still don't care

The world is watching, but it reminds quiet

But why can't we speak up when people are dying

We're just as guilty when we're silent

We contribute to the violence

We can decide to sit on the sides, they're forced to fight

It's true

The men israel are killing in gaza deserve to live too

Everyone only mentions the women and kids but the men also deserve a voice

But we're isolating them and placing them in the corner where it seems we believe it doesn't matter they too are killed or hurt, a boy, girl, baby, woman, man are all as important as each other

When they're being killed and forced to suffer

But this just doesn't make sense to my mind

But when hamas fight for the same freedom our troops did, they're terrorists

But you don't get it, what happened on 9/11 happens everyday in palestine

The smoke on their land spirals up as more souls go up to heaven

More bombs keep coming down, and more children die

But the news outlets have to now spread the same damn lie

They keep saying hamas is the bad guy

That is a hurtful message that their spreading but they spread it anyway

It's a tool that they use to escape the blame

But they're the reason people die

And it's no lie that

you people have a fetish for the deaths of innocent children

Considering how you get off on their killings

If only the Palestinians weren't so lonely and we could all stand up for them but ignorance only shows me that they're the villain

Anyway, to be on the right side of history, you don't have to be islamic, or have it
