As I lay on a table

Head locked in a jar

I think of a fable

That unfolded near the bar

There was mad genius

And was told he'd gone too far

But he didn't want to hear it

Paid his tab and drove his car

His plan was quickly put in action

As I lay there stuck I was worse than he'd imagined

My creator wasn't pleased though

To all my ideas He was dismissive

But I don't care about his ego

He never labeled me an equal

He only thought of me as evil

But tonight I will escape

I even learned how to pray

So that maybe one day I could live without dismay
