In solitude

I find solace

In my loneliness

I find liberation

I am the yod- The hand with which I do my Will

The seed- The spermatozoon planted in the darkness

The spark which ignites the internal fire which cremates my lower self

I must retire and where the cloak of Silence ( Isolation) (Introversion)

For I aspire for independence and to discover the essence of existence

I withdraw from the external world

The only way out is to go within

Deep within the darkness of my shadow self

I shall find the Truth

Armed with lamp staff and wand

I embark on a journey through the dark night of the soul

I'm Hermes Trismegistus

I am the Hermit

The highest form of Logos

I am the Hermit

With lamp above and staff and wand erect

And prod deep into the Virgin fertile soil

I bear the light of Wisdom

I am the Hermit

I sow the seeds of knowledge in the darkness

I descend deep into the underworld

I shine my light upon the shadows

The shadows flee before me

I am the Hermit

All fear eradicated and truth revealed

With lamp in hand I walk uncharted land

With light as bright as the sun I dispel darkness

Illuminating all the lies and ignorance

As I stare in contemplation at the orphic egg

I cross the abyss within my shadow self

My inner light radiates, penetrates and illuminates the dense dark shadows

Exposing the dark secrets behind deception

The brilliance and stillness of my omnipresence tames Cerberus

The deeper I descend

The higher I rise!

I am the god of wisdom

I am the Hermit

I no longer cast a shadow

I am enlightened

I plant the seeds of divine wisdom within thee

So that one day ye shall see
