I shall lie down

And pretend I'm dying

The neighbors will all come in

To gape at me, to gape at me

So tell me I'm your midnight muse

Write about me when you're alone

Whisper to me all your secrets

Feel me in your bones

And I am losing my mind

In the dark and I'm running blind

And lightning makes the skyline glow

So come paint my world with yours

Lonely butterfly's in my hollow chest

Love to give, but none to get

Making snow angels in the rain
