Lyrics
Have you, by chance, checked the sweaters?
Did any of them shrink in the wash?
Did you have the time to check your sweaters?
If any of them discoloured
We shall bring them to the parish
They will give them to the poor
Now that I am needy too
Should I get in change something new?
Tight sweaters: the curse of our time
Synthetic fibres that cause irritation
I can afford the ones that ain't worth a dime
I save them for special occasions
'Cause you use them once and they're already old
And they pile up in the cupboard
But after careful consideration
I may keep them there some more
At times I feel the weight of all those sweaters
This junk that burdens my existence
I think I should get rid of those damned old sweaters
But I already gave up to their persistence
