My toes in the sand

I just can't seem to begin to understand

The mystery of nature and how did it start?

I heard a story about three years ago

From a man who knew a special place that we could all go

He said it'd answer all my questions and I'd find a surprise

If I ever went on a trip to the inside

And I was like "What do you mean by the 'inside'"

And he told me it's a psychedelic paradise

So I said "Oh no, I'm good" I politely decline

But soon I came to decide

Like what is it that I'm really so afraid of

My thoughts are just thoughts but they're not what I'm made of

I just had to give myself a chance to see

What's really going on inside of me

And so I took a deep breath and I closed my eyes

Locked in on the sensations of being alive

And when the silence fell I came to realize

My mind is a psychedelic paradise
