A distorted perspective of what was me

Clouded perceptions of a place I should be

Turn away from the shadows that provoke deceit

My whole existence plagued by a higher place

These echoes they cry so loud

Entombed by these restrictions it is too late

These echoes are lost in the clouds

Ancients weep at the sight of our dying race

All along they knew our fate was sealed

Lost in the fabric of my regrets

They show no understanding

Of our aberration

With the fear of descending
