I just want to start it off, by letting you know that I'm through it

The ups and downs and highs and lows be getting to me

My heart and mind be battling

The conflicts getting to me

Tryna be mature but my environment ain't lowing me,

I'm trying but I'm cowering

They say my ego's towering

but it's just a coping mechanism that I developed

Anything can happen at any moment

Gotta stay vigilant, the demons creeping in

Ever since I put up my barriers, it's like they teasing me

They're really causing my hysteria, emotions fluctuating

I've begged the Lord for discernment

Yeah I beg cause it's urgent, need to know who I can trust

Cause the future is coming quicker than I thought and it's causing my torment

Lately, I've been praising the Lord, tryna get my life back on track

All I did back then was lack, to the point where my mind almost cracked open

Had to find new ways of coping

Just repent and promise you won't do it anymore
