Caves Lyrics

Calm, palm trees, move swiftly with the breeze

Sun-light, attracts, forgotten caves, of the past

Standing, along the coastlines, stranded by time

Waves come crashing down, on the shorelines

Bunkerd for the storms disaster now

The storms approaching oceans a brewing

The ibis are currently in fleeting formation

See the ocean swells are towering over

The canopy's life has left to die

Forty foot trenches cover the beaches

This swampy water has nothing but leeches

In-coming waves destroy preparations

I've made to preserve this life

Sheltered within the caves we hide

Water begins to seep inside

Deeper to where the tree roots grow

Strengthen the capsule of my mind

Dug down further to feel safer

Escape roots approved, me no favours

Dead ends with no good intense, irrationalize these events

White water churning through the rocks, drowning out all these thoughts

Despite me trying to hold on, slippery moss treads no slots

Holding on for dear life, these grips will never suffice

Any survival actions I, never will complete its function

Rushing water fills this cave, to the brim no air escapes

Treading water to survive, for now the bubbles do suffice

In the eye of the storm, lightning tears the rocks apart

Charges blow the cave apart, leaving me stranded to rot

Struggling to catch a breath, been all along the homestretch

Can't hold on here for any longer, lifes told us that we're all goners

Slowly now the cave caves in, drowning out the arrangements

That would have saved us in these times, no avail is in its prime

Screaming yelling for our rescue, we've never had a fair chance to argue

Chances of our defensive value, slim to zero we're here to rot

Alongside the trust, thats been left to rot, with all of the lust

We're used to the bust, the cave is submerged in deadly thought
