I seem to do the same things that I did the year before

Every path I take it only serves to close another door

Though with evidence of brighter days, the truth I may deny

I haven't failed before and so my record's standing clean

The search becomes exhausting, for a meaning without doubt

To try and make the most of all the time you are around

And I feel as if I'm different from the people that surround

To carry on through all the contradictions to be found

So as I said above, the day is wasting as we speak
