I don't know if that's a true statement but it's true feelings

Oh the pain of unlearning that emotions are the enemy

It taught me to hide repress and deny the storm going on within me

It taught me to equate sadness with weakness

It taught me that my anger was inherently evil

Let God obliterate not you but the lies you believe about yourself

Let God finally free you from your death

Let go of the burden of condemnation you carry

Cling to the grace and mercy that scares you

Being seen for who we are is terrifying

Being met by God with mercy is mesmerizing

Travel into the territory of truth

Take all the burdens inside of you to Jesus he'll welcome you

life and death is the difference between connection with others and isolation

Forgiveness doesn't just save love it kills hate

Give it to yourself or you'll suffocate in should haves

You should have received love and affirmation

You should have been seen and validated

You should have been heard and respected
