Depraved, corrupted morally, decietful and wicked

We dined with the prince of the power of the air

The spirit who is now at work in the disobedient

Among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh

And like the rest of mankind we were children of wrath

But God immense in mercy, and incredible love

Made us alive in Christ and He seated us above

By Grace Alone we are saved

Despite His lovingkindness and this undeserved gift

We labour for salvation as if it can be earned

I've heard it said before we work for woe relax for righteousness

This sayings true

Let the spirit do what the spirit will do best

Works will come as our response to

Christ alive in us

Producing light in a sin black world

God's supernatural love

For we are His poetry, reborn from above, renewed

Created in Him unto good works

He predestined us to do
