Imagine being down and out staring at the face of uncertainty

No family fund pay, no 401k, and no savings for an emergency

No mortgage and now the rent is late

And even tho that is usually not the case

You get the notice you've been dreading stating you have 30 days

To pay or quit and you have at least another 2 weeks to wait

but when the check hits here the bills go

Bill 1, bill 2, bill 3, plus the rent owed

And the rent due

And now it's due again it's crazy how the time flew

Parents working just for rent reminiscing on how their kids grew

And how they missed it all clocking in and out and soon they'll be missing their home too

And in the end that's where it starts
