I've always been scared of the dark, so I flick on a Night light to avoid darkness

My heart screams of so much sadness because Darkness has taken over

And the light that I love is lost, something I have no Control of

The light has found a new home

Now I must learn to deal with the dark alone

My body feels so cold without the light to guide me

So I return home in hopes the light will find me

But all I find is that the light no longer has batteries

I always thought my biggest fear was darkness itself

But it turns out I was more scared of losing the light that made my world bright

Now that it's lost, how do I continue on with life

I fight to open it to avoid darkness
