Why do we still cry?

We cry because we feel pain

We cry because we feel sorrow

We cry because things are always in vain

Maybe, there's no such thing as tomorrow

As a man we're not supposed to show emotion right?

Why can't I just release the anger and stress?

Why can't I love to learn to love first?

Why must this young nice guy, with a old soul always come in last?

Why every time I'm about to reach the exit, I lose control and crash?

I wish I could fly

I wish I could try

I wish I could be great but

I wanted to die

These pieces of my heart and soul won't melt, or fade away

It's just a matter of how, I deal with the decisions I made today

Everything comes pouring out

Sadness, anger, pain, self doubt

I can't hold back the rain drops from my eyes sometimes

If I let em' overflow, then my soul could become blind

I am a man who just wants to be a provider

And a leader of the people

But sometimes it's hard to withstand all the lies that they teach you

The children need a voice

And we all have a choice

But I just need that extra push, so I can rejoice

Someday I'll get to my dreams

That throne on top of the mountain, I must try

But in order for me to succeed and breathe

And believe my dreams

I let em' pour when I'm alone
