You know in this world that we live in, it seems that we're all searching for love

However, I realize that after gaining a career, the wife, kids, the money, the car, the house

I found that there was still something that was missing

I was incomplete

The Bible says in 1 John 4 9-10, it says

God showed us how much he loved us by sending his one and only son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him

It also says this is real love

Not that we love God, but that he loved us and sent his son as a sacrifice to take away our sins

Man, imagine that

So I want to share with you today that you'll never find real love in anything else except through God the Father

So if you're listening to this and you want to receive this love

you know, this love that we're talking about, repeat after me as I pray

Father, I come to you as humble as I can

I made some mistakes in my life and I went after some things that I probably shouldn't have

But today, I'm willing and I'm ready to trust you with my life

So I say thank you for sending your son Jesus to die for my sins

Thank you for looking beyond my faults and seeing that I had a need

Today, I confess Jesus as Lord and I'm going to follow him for the rest of my life
