Recently Deleted Lyrics

I live vicariously through the pictures in my phone

It's like watching an old movie

With a plot I used to know

Don't get me wrong now

I've no problem letting go

But it's nice sometimes - those reminders

I think I like it cause it rewrites

The story of a time I was unhappy

But the smiles that were captured tell me otherwise

It helps to justify I didn't waste my time

But that's a fabricated story

Now the time stamps call it history

My feelings are all gone

If nothing's left but just some pixels

Why's it so hard movin' on

I wish I could delete those pictures

I rarely think of them

But I'd still like to see them every now then

Late at night I'm passing through my camera roll

When I was there before I watched

What was our world dissolve into a million pieces

Now I can't help but wonder why they haven't made it

To recently deleted

My album's filled with all new faces

And some that I don't know

I've flipped the pages, ended chapters

I'm not who I was before
