I'm floating away into the abyss below

But why am I so upset at this ending?

But maybe this isn't what I wanted

Instead of burning books and throwing them away

The thoughts inside they keep me dreaming

I can't stop seeing their faces

Draping over everything and slowly leading me with dread

There's so much I want to do

Like fall in love or move aboard

The time it takes is too damn long

But it's still keeping itself afloat

I've lost enough of them already

Demons took control of them

I want to be victorious and make amends for all my wrongs

I can finish this adventure

I will find my closure here

And I will find a happy ending you've never got
